FAQ
  • A. The completion of your order depends on my current schedule. Depending on the size and details of your order, I would say anywhere from 2 – 4 weeks. I build, create, paint, sand, and letter every piece of my work by hand making it a time consuming process. Please be patient with your custom order. Before you place your order with me, I will provide you with a specific date it will be ready by.

  • A. I love custom orders! Let’s chat about your vision – click on the “contact” tab above and send me a message!

  • A. It is not required for you to provide the piece or board – I will provide most wood and canvas pieces. If you live nearby and have a specific piece you want personalized or lettered, I will be glad to do it for you. I can letter on just about anything — past items include boxing gloves, old doors, an antique sewing table, globes, walls, leaves, antique jewelry boxes, etc.

  • A. Due to the handwritten quality of my work, I do not offer refunds on any order. With handlettering, it is common for there to be differences in the spacing, style, and size of letters. Handlettering is an art and no two pieces I create are identical. Although I do not offer refunds, I will be glad to redo any reasonable discrepancy.

  • A. If you choose traditional chalk art for your signage, then the chalk will obviously smear if you touch or rub the board. I prefer and recommend a more permanent design, which I create through white acrylic paint. This way, your custom piece will last a lifetime while still achieving the look of a chalkboard!

  • A. I use acrylic paint for art and lettering unless otherwise noted.

  • A. I recommend giving me at least 3 – 4 weeks to address your invitations. Make sure you think through your save the date/invitation timeline. Since wedding invitations are traditionally mailed six to eight weeks before your wedding occurs, plan on giving them to me at least 12 weeks before your wedding day. However, if your invitations are printed and ready to be addressed 6 months before your wedding, bring them to me! I appreciate the extra time.

  • A. For custom orders, 50% of payment is due at the time of order and the remainder is due upon completion.

  • A. Absolutely! I love new friends! Meeting with my clients/brides and listening to their wedding or event vision is one of my favorite parts of my job. Also, if you are interested in a custom piece for a room in your home, it is very beneficial for me to see and feel the space where your art will eventually live.

  • A. Yes, rush orders are available upon request. Price could increase from 15 – 30% depending on the size of the order. Shoot me a message in the contact form above to check my schedule of availability.
